The Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest City Park was built for the Millenial celebrations in 1896. This wide angle panoramic stock image of both sides of the Danube was shot from the Liberty bridge looking towards north. I tried to shoot an image that provides a full panorama from Buda Castle to Pest and also features the Chainbridge. I had to put down the tripod close to the pillars of the bridge as it was constantly shaking due to heavy traffic. The sun was already down and the lights of the castle were lit. As the sky was azure blue, it was easy to capture a beautiful color palette. Due to long exposure the Danube got blurred. It operates as a restaurant but also features a small exhibition. The steamer was better lit which caused parts of the image to burn out. I could not decrease exposure as Buda Castle was darker and therefore I had to apply a longer exposure. It is difficult to take good images from the Pest-side promenade, because anchored ships and traffic beside the Danube is disturbing the cleaness of the image. This wide panoramic stock image of Chainbridge (Lánchíd) was shot from the tram platform in front of Hotel Intercontinental in Budapest. The Chainbridge is somewhat behind ships and passing traffic, so the image had to be cropped to discard distractive noise. Behind the bridge you can see Matthias Church up in the Buda castle. I had to take multiple images as the tram was passing regularly, and both shaking and light spillage was a problem when taking long exposure shots. This wide angle panoramic stock image of Chainbridge (Lánchíd) was shot from the river bank below the Academy of Sciences in Budapest. I shot multiple series approximately hundred meters from the foot of the bridge in the Pest side. The view is ideal as it includes both the bridge and the Royal Palace in Buda Castle. Approximately one hour after sunset the sky was still dark blue, but the street lights were already on. I had to hurry to complete all the images before the night turned pitch dark.
