The Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest City Park was built for the Millenial celebrations in 1896. The temporary exhibit was later replaced by a stone-build castle composed in the stile of eclecticism incorporating most dominant architectural styles from Roman through Gothic to Baroque and Romanticism. Vajdahunyad Castle is just a one minute walk away from Heroes’s square and five minutes from the Szechenyi Thermal Bath, the Circus and the Budapest Zoo.
